I know the graphics card is in the low end, but the procesor looks ok to me, so could I play F.E.A.R, or even Crysis in its lowest settings?

I want to build a custom laptop, like on a site, but theyre outdated now. Im uses sites like Ibuypower or Cyberpower, but i want to get the new santa rosa processors and nvidia 8000 series cards.
Any suggestions? OR do it have to buy it from a retail like acer, hp, and dell? :/

As the question above states, i have an ASUS G1 that i recently bought and i was wondering if i will be able to upgrade my CPU (the T7200) to a Centrino Pro. Or will it be too costly, void my warranty or be too much of a headache to perform then worth? (also possibly making my system unstable or increase heat)

Santa Rosa is coming out soon. It’s going to have an upgraded version of integrated graphics, x3000.
I know it won’t compare to discrete graphics, but how much better is it than current integrated graphics? Will I be able to run graphics intensive programs using it?
I know I won’t get super performance, but I have a desktop for that. I basically want to know if x3000 will run them decently. If not, I’ll need to get a discrete graphics card, which is hard to do with an ultraportable.

How much battery do you save in a Santa Rosa Macbook Pro with LED screen when you turn down the brightness. Does it make a big difference?

I’ve been looking at the m1710 for some time but the sheer thickness of it has shyed me away here and there. Dell just released the m1330 which is uber thin and light do to its slot loading dvd player and led backlit screen, so i’m wondering if dell has any plans on incorporating these features on the m1710 to make it just a little bit thinner.
